Our History
ThyssenKrupp Industrial Services (formerly The Hearn Group) has been active as a service provider to the automotive and manufacturing industries in North America since 1966. Throughout the years it has been steadily expanding its products and services offerings to include transportation, logistics, warehousing, rework, sequencing and sub-assembly. In November 2004, the company acquired PSA Quality Systems, which strengthened its presence in North America. On February 1, 2006, The Hearn Group was acquired by ThyssenKrupp Industrial Services NA, a business unit of ThyssenKrupp Materials NA (Detroit, MI), and the name of the company was subsequnetly changed to ThyssenKrupp Industrial Services.  Most recently, ThyssenKrupp Industrial Services has formed a strategic alliance with Monnex International (Chicago, IL), a minority business enterprise.
